Great story!
Buon proseguimento.

Great story, i liked it very much . It made me feel a sense of the time and discoveries which, i am sure, many of us spent with our children in various occasions and maybe seemed trivial then, but they served as an education to our little ones. A well written ,gentle tale that inspires and shows affection between father and son.
Do by this eBook, it is well worth it.
The selection of the many eBooks is fabulous, great! Daniel and all of his Team are super. Keep up the good job.

Excellent. Very effective, as it stretched my level while remaining readable. Highly recommended.

An enchanting story that made it very easy to read straight through before going back to sort out the odd bits of vocab that I didn’t know. Then I listened, then I read it again, then listened again and the listening function is really important as training for actually speaking the language and understanding the responses!! Still find both of these a challenge.

I really enjoyed this book. Even more so because I was able to understand most of the content. I learned some new vocabulary, which always excites me. I look forward to more books in the future. Thank you for your services.

A very enjoyable story with a serious background. Light pollution. The vocabulary was slightly challenging, I learnt some new words and I loved listening to the reading on SoundCloud. I try to read the story with her.

An easy and enjoyable story for beginners. The story line guides you along, the vocabulary and grammar is easy to understand and it gives you a feeling of achievement when you have finished it.

I loved this story! It is sweet and interesting. The topic led me to finding vocabulary about the planets, stars, astronomy and even astrology! My fellow Italian learners and I have enjoyed exploring the themes that this story inspired!

  8. Marilyn Marquis

What a delightful story! I’ve read and reread this little gem and appreciate the way the plot moves from family to work to community, all with the love of the stars and planets motivating the action. I’ve read it several times over a period of weeks and with each reading I understand more and enjoy more. Great way to increase my language learning!

I loved this book, it was the perfect level for me and my students!!

  10. Lynda (verified owner)

This was a interesting story and it had some new vocab but not so much that the friend and I that listened to it couldn’t get the gist of it. The e-books and Easy Italian News are a great combination for improving listening skills, as we are finding out!

Really enjoyed reading this and has helped me realise the level I can tackle, so have now bought more easy readers at a slightly higher level.
Good value and much more interesting than just using grammar books.

Fabulous book, and to have the audio to use alongside or separately is great.
The level is really good. I can understand a lot of the text when I read it, but listening to it is more difficult and that is where I need the practice!

A really heart warming little tale. The 3rd for me in this Easy Readers series. This is doing great things for my Italian.

I’ve read a number of easy readers now and I’ve really started noticing a marked improvement in my comprehension. The vocabulary in this one is really useful. I’ve realised I’ve come across some of it before when listening to the Easy Italian News! Trouble is I’m so engrossed in my Italian stories I’m staying up too late to finish them and not getting enough sleep! Hopefully I will start dreaming in Italian very soon.

I found this little book really good.Perfect for my level of Italian.
As soon as you know what Giacomo does for a living you get a good idea where the story will go.Very enjoyable and would highly recommend!!

I found this book very good for improving my listening skills. I can read this level book pretty easily so my theory was that I would be able to understand what it is about by just listening as there are very few words in it I don’t know. Four chapters in my theory is working reasonably well and I am showing some improvement, although I have got a way to go yet!

A lovely little story and actually quite topical for today. This is the third easy reader book that I’ve purchased and I would thoroughly recommend them especially when they’re offered at a sale price. Once I’ve listened to the audio and then read the text, I enjoy listening to the audio again a few times without the text.

    Not read yet.

  19. Caroline

I enjoyed reading this book and found it the right level for me, as a fairly recent returner to Italian lessons. I could understand it well and there was enough new vocabulary to make it interesting. I’d certainly recommend reading Italian texts, and listening on SoundCloud as a supplement to lessons.

  20. Lynne

Purchased this text as part of the 3 for 2 bundle, good value. The level was just right, I was able to understand most but there were some challenges. A simple plot, easy to follow. New vocabulary learned. Reading and then identifying the different verb tenses was useful. For the first time when reading I actually thought in Italian and didn’t try to translate into English until I had finished the story. Being able to listen to the story helped me to ‘tune in’ to Italian,

I learned some new vocabulary, and practised my pronunciation ?. The level was good for me as an “upper beginner”.
