I have been studying Italian, with a bit of frustration, as I have no one to with whom to really converse . This manner of reading and then having the audio is tremendously helpful. As mentioned by everyone who has given these critiques, the woman who did the audio was really terrific. I enjoy this manner of learning! Thanks so much.

I really enjoyed this book. I listened to and read it with the friend I go to Italian classes with. We had great fun listening to it. Neither of us knew anything about the movie so we spent a lot of time laughing and then trying to guess what would happen in the next chapter. We loved the ending ! It really is a fun way to improve your listening skills and vocab.

I find the text a bit meagre compared to other Easy Readers but the idea , I guess, is to read the book as a support for watching the film with italian subtitles. I’d call it a synopsis. The language is to the lighter side of B1 introducing the pronouns in the accusative. It’s a very fine introduction to the filmgenre, Commedia all’Italiana.

I would recommend this book, for the story that kept my interest from the beginning, and for the pace of the audio.
Thank you to the lady who read the book to me.

That would have been Natalia, now off to greener pastures, but still writing for EasyItalianNews.com. She’ll be pleased you appreciated her work!

Fourth book for me and as with each one, I am very happy. The audio to this is probably the best out of all so far. The lady has a nice strong accent and speaks slower than usual making it easier to listen to and translate.

This is the first book I have bought and I was tentative at first because I have not had good luck with these leveled kinds of books. But, I must say that I was pleasantly surprised and am now a big supporter of the Easy Readers. The vocabulary, the way it is written and the audio makes for a comprehensive reading experience. I feel like I could have a conversation about the book with higher level Italian students based on what I learned from the Easy Reader version. It gave me a lot of confidence and I will certainly purchase more and hopefully at higher levels the more I read. Thank you!

This is the 4th book I’ve bought ( all at the special half price offer ). The first 3 were level A2 and I found them quite easy to read and listen to, this is slightly more difficult and took a little longer to read. I really enjoyed the story and also the sense of achievement when I finished it. I re read all the books quite often as I find they help with every aspect of learning Italian. Definitely recommend this book.

A very funny story that had me chuckling out loud, I would imagine that the original film was hilarious. These e-books are so well written that I’m hooked from chapter one.
I appreciate the glossary for each chapter too.
I highly recommend this book.

An excellent book, with a very amusing story line. A great way to practice your Italian, especially with the glossary and exercises after each chapter. I highly recommend this book.

For a B1 level dialogue, this is one of the clearest and perhaps slowest deliveries I’ve listened to. A couple of chapters I got pretty much after a single listening and where I didn’t it was mostly down to my lack of vocabulary.
All in all, this is a top title for B1.

A very amusing story line, a really good fun way to improve your Italian. I find listening to a language in this way so much more useful than just reading it.

Il libro molto interessante. Piu’ di tutto mi piace che dimostra alcuni tradizioni del sud. Ogni capitolo comprende il dizionario e gli esercizi grammatici.
Consiglio da leggere!
Josephine Ingham –
Easy to read with quite good glossary and very good exercises

A easy compressive way to supplement your Italian language program!

I enjoyed reading Divorzio All’italiana! The book is written for foreigners and it is simple, clear, concise and very interesting to read which makes it an easy and enjoyable experience!
The book can serve as an excellent introduction to watching a movie and deepening the knowledge of Italian culture, especially cinema.
Each chapter is accompanied by a glossary of unfamiliar words, a short questionnaire and language exercises that make reading even more fun.The dictionary provides easier reading of the text, questions about the text that check the understanding of the reading, and language exercises which can check and improve your grammar knowledge. Of course, on the last page of the book there is an answer key
This is the fourth book I bought from OnlineItalianClub library! I would recommend you all to treat yourself to one of the books! I hope you would enjoy it the same way I did.
And believe me, when you get to the last page and realize that you have read the book in Italian, it allows you with great joy, pride, self-confidence and big motivation to continue learning the language! 🙂

Hi, I’m really interested in this audio book but I use an iPad. I can view the sample fine when I click on the link but I’m just wondering if I buy it, is the full download compatible for viewing on the iPad? Thanks.
