  1. Fran

I have mixed thoughts on this book. It was good to read about the Italian celebrations but, mmmmm. I found it hard to get into. I think it’s definitely more of a B1 level and I’m looking forward to rereading it with pen in hand and a translation app to help out. Now on to the next book 🙂

Many thanks for your comments, Fran!

I really enjoyed reading this ebook. I didn’t know much about Italian holidays and holiday traditions yet, and the text is easy enough that I could understand it without having to look up any words – I even learned a few new ones without too much effort!
A simple message along with my order form was sufficient to receive an ebook-friendly file by e-mail that I could upload to my ebook for more comfortable reading.

A parte di imparare la lingua italiana, voglio imparare dei tradizionali e della cultura d’Italia, così questo libro mi piace molto. E adesso, sto leggendo dei alcuni regioni diversi d’Italia. Grazie.

I have bought many easyreader books and have found them all interesting and wanting me to read more of them. Also they are at the right level, easy to enjoy but also to push the reader along on the journey of a better understanding of the language. For me, the best on the market

Excellent way to improve one’s language learning. This book is rather challenging for me as I am graded A1, but wouldn’t be nearly so useful if it was too easy.

I’m working my way through “Il Calendario” as an A1/A2 student of Italian. I did look at the sample chapter before purchasing and decided to take the plunge into level B2 Italian. It’s a challenge, but that’s the only way I’m going to learn the language. Not sure why the pages do not have an English translation – ma vado avanti. What really caught my attention was the topic of this book – not only am I learning the Italian language, I’m learning about the Italian culture. It’s a 2 for 1 and I couldn’t be happier. Grazie mille.

‘Easy reader’ ebooks don’t come with an English translation, Diane. If that’s what you prefer, you need ‘parallel text’ ebooks. We have some in our catalog, if you look.
