Lovely story great for year 1 beginners and suitable for adults and younger readers. Keep up the good work. Good vocab and exercises too.

My second easy reader and I followed advice from Daniel. Listened without the text and then read it without using a dictionary. I found the story a little harder than my first “Il Giocoliere” but that’s good. Another good little story that made me smile. Having the audio is great! I need the practice. Grazie

  3. Marilyn

This is a delightful story about a goldfish, family, friendship, and the importance of being honest. It’s charming and has some new vocabulary mixed with familiar grammar. These books are perfect for solidifying reading and listening skills.

This is a great little story and right at my level. I was keen to get to the end and see how the boy was going to wriggle out of the problem of his own making. I have found these books an excellent way of improving my Italian listening skills.

A very nice little story, with a well founded message about the importance of telling the truth. It was my first easyI found relatively easy to read.

This book was my first in the Easy Readers series, one that encouraged me to go on and buy another 10 books in the same series, 9 of which I purchased at a good discount in the recent Sales. The further books range in level of difficulty from A2 to B1.

I very much like the length and format of these books.

    Well done Daniel!

Questo libro è utile e perfetto per lettura ad alta voce.
    Grazie Daniel

I really enjoyed this book and I hope to reread it many times. It is the perfect level for me and the grammar is simple but yet challenging. I am really happy to have discovered this delightful book!

This has a cute story line, very true to life, but what I mostly enjoyed was the vocabulary. I got a lot out of this book as a language learner.

The diversity of these books is what keeps me coming back. Thank you.

I loved this story. It’s well written and funny, so true to life. The vocabulary is modern and very up to date too. I was able to follow the recording without the transcript but when I read the transcript there were a few words and phrases that I hadn’t come across before.
I recommend this book as a great way to improve your Italian whilst enjoying a good chuckle.

This was sold as an a1 level book and I found it to be an accurate rating.

The story is about a school kid who brags about his giant fish, when in fact it is just an ordinary fish. He spends his time trying to wiggle out of one grand lie after another.

It follows a standard format of short chapters with some Q & A about events in right after. There is also a short section in each chapter where phrases that the authors feel might be new to the reader are given an English translation.

I found it also useful to have a translation app on my computer that allowed me to click a word and see a pop up translation.

I give it a thumbs up. The prices are reasonable, the stories are decently written, and this type of reading is a solid addition to any language learning process.
