Description
Want to REALLY learn Italian?
So put aside that grammar book – it’s time to start working on building your reading and listening skills!
Being able to confidently read Italian texts and understand what you hear opens up a whole new world of opportunities, both for learning and for living!
And with this great offer, you can get months of original study material, nine Italian ‘Book Of The Film’ easy readers, from level A2 to level B1/B2, at HALF PRICE, just £44.99 (that’s a 50% reduction on the £89.91 cost of purchasing the ebooks separately.)
Each of these .pdf ebooks (printable, or readable on most devices) contains the story of a classic Italian movie, along with glossaries of difficult words and exercises.
There’s even an audio recording to listen to online, as often as you wish!
This material is written by an actual Italian movie scriptwriter (also an Italian teacher), who sat down to watch these classic films again and to write a simplified, easy to follow, version of the story, especially for learners like you!
The finished text includes glossaries and comprehension exercises and is then recorded by an Italian native speaker.
Together, the text and the audio offer a boost to your Italian, as well as being a fantastic orientation to the movie itself – find it on Netflix or cable and you’ll see how much easier it will be to understand, once you already know the characters and the story!
Building a study habit which includes regular reading and listening to material adapted to your level, combined with authentic material such as films, will, over time, improve your knowledge of grammar and vocabulary.
As well as boosting your confidence when you need to understand and speak!

This really is a wonderful introduction to Italian classic films and fantastic value. I listened to and read all nine summaries, then watched one film each week over nine weeks – some with and some without subtitles depending on what I could find. I then wrote a one page summary for my online teacher, which we used as great lesson material. The level was perfect for me (studying at B1) and I really enjoyed the whole experience. I’d like more!

Enjoyed reading these, and of course they inspired me to seek and watch the films. For me, the reading level is just right. It’s *just* above my ability to catch every word, so I have to work hard to get it all. I read them again and again so I can improve my flow and my vocabulary. GRAZIE!!!

The books, like all on the site, are very good materials for someone studying Italian, I really enjoyed as these as they have provided good topics of conversation with my Italian family who of course know the films well.

A mini Italian film course! These Easy Readers make learning Italian fun. The bonus was I had a chance to re-watch films I hadn’t seen in a long, long time. Even better, this time I was watching (and learning) as an Italian student. I also watched some classics I had missed along the way. As both and Italian student and a film lover, this package was a great investment!
