  1. Glenda Gravis

Great story but a cliffhanger so my study buddy and I each wrote a 4 chapter sequel. We had fun and used each chapter as a dictation exercise.

  2. Linn Harrar (verified owner)

Good little story just challenging enough for my level.

  3. Lynn Dorling (verified owner)

Lovely little story. Good to learn things about Bologna. Easy text – like another reviewer normally reading B1 but bought this because it was new /- great just to be able to read it – confirms progress using these excellent books.

  4. Jan De Booser (verified owner)

Simple story that reads very smoothly. The big plus: the exercises after each chapter consist of simple questions. In answering them you have to learn to build sentences, which is very beneficial for your speaking skills. Recommended!

  5. Yvonne (verified owner)

A lovely heartwarming book. I came back to this book after reading some at a more advanced level. Reading this (and listening to the audio track) made me realize that I may have made a bit of progress! Most enjoyable.

  6. Lillias Urban (verified owner)

The basic level books are relatively easy to read but there is still always new vocabulary. The audio is great as I have trouble with spoken Italian

  7. sarah galaz (verified owner)

Really worthwhile. Simple story that is easy to visualise. The grammar is relatively straightforward and while I needed to look up some vocab there was quite a lot that I could take a fairly good guess at. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone at an A1 – A2 level.

  8. Anne Houghton (verified owner)

I purchased this book a few weeks ago but had been too busy to read it. It is a lovely story with vocabulary which could be used in any situation. I always download the audio so I can become familiar with the story while on the move and then I reread constantly until I am familiar with the spellings too.

I have bought quite a few books now and constanty surprise both my classmates and teacher with my knowledge of Italian vocabulary – I even surprise myself. These books and audio are a perfect learning tool.
