An enjoyable way to read dialogue and a brief story while expanding ways to practice vocabulary development. As advertised, it is an easy reader. Very enjoyable.

Fun book to read. The chapters are short and the story is entertaining. Lots of new words and as I like hiking in the mountains, the new words in this book are of practical use to me.
It is a good A2 level with the use of different tenses and expressions, some of which challenged me to google them and find out what the heck they mean. For instance: “muoviamoci” and “fermiamoci”.

Another good, interesting read, helping all aspects of my limited Italian.

A story of adventure in the mountains, in the midst of winter. Misadventure strikes, as the snow sets in but an unlikely hero saves the day… A nice relatively “easy” short story which I was able to get through in one session, but one which nevertheless had plenty of vocabulary and expressions that were new to me. I enjoyed it.

I really enjoyed this book, especially because I love the mountains. I also was able to learn more vocabulary about hiking, gear and weather. I started learning Italian before going on my first trip to Italy and I stuck with it after I got back. I hiked in the Dolomites and would love to return to Italian Alps. I will be re-reading this book many times.

I loved this e-reader. Full of wonderful vocabulary and, as the previous reviewer commented, brilliant for those of us who need to keep working on the structure of our sentences.
There is a real human touch in these books to which we can all relate. This one is part mid-life crisis, part adventure, highlighting the lighthearted ‘ribbing’ so typical of males of any age!
One of my students, who is’ una grande appassionata di trekking’ has used so many lovely expressions from this book in her oral and written exam work as well as when she goes walking in the mountains in Italy.
Espressions in the Glossary of just one chapter, for example, include the following:
risparmiare il fiato = to save one’s breath / permaloso = touchy / tenere duro = to hang in there / stay strong / mollare = to give in
With loads of grammar resources at the end of each chapter, these e-readers are a fantastic resource for teachers and lovers/ students of Italian .

Enjoyable to read. I like the e-reader books because I can take them with me when I travel. They are very helpful for vocabulary building and facilitating my understanding of structure. These two things are critical to me……..
