I enjoyed the series as it emerged on-line. There’s masses of information. Most chapters were completely new to me. Others put into context things that I was vague about – like Italy’s colonial ventures. It’s good to have it in a single volume that I might go back to read at some point. But my main reason for paying for this version is to say thanks to the author, and thanks to Daniel for publishing it through the summer.
